About
Cymbals started as the donut and coffee bar in the lobby of Faraway Nantucket, and when the client decided to grow the concept into breakfast and lunch, they needed the brand to grow with it. I extended the existing visual system to support new packaging, menus, and signage, including wax paper, takeout boxes, coffee cups, and a branded seal. I also created a custom illustration of the ordering window and courtyard to bring the space to life. The goal throughout was to keep the warmth and personality of the original brand intact while giving it the range to do more.
